    This is a perfect example of the type of distortion an older 1950's Argus 3 element lens has; the 'circles of confusion' get increasingly flatter as you travel out from the center of the photo, & the 'squeeze' is along a ray from the center of the photo. This was one of the distortion types that the lens makers tried to correct. Argus finally did it with their C44 50mm lens. Thanks for sharing.
