Jörgen Axelvall エキシビジョン Parité @Shu Champagne Bar

スウェーデン出身、日本在住の写真家 Jörgen Axelvall (ヨーガン・アクセルバル) 。過去に何度もロモグラフィーのマガジン記事に登場してくれた彼のエキシビジョン「 Parite 」が Shu Champagne Barにて現在開催中です。

Jorgen Axelvall is a Swedish photographer based in Tokyo. He has appeared in Lomography Magazine several times already! Jorgen is holding an exhibition "Parité" at Shu Champagne Bar . Come and enjoy his latest works and a glass of Champagne this weekend!

“Parite”（パリテ）と題した今回のExhibitionは ”ポートレイトと花” がテーマです。 美しい価値とストーリーを持ったそれぞれの作品が重なる時、絶妙な物語が紡ぎ出され、そこには、私たちの生活の中で必ずしも 1+1＝2ではないというメッセージが隠されています。 それは、まるで知らない二人が恋に落ちる魔法のように。。
そして、それはまるで予期せぬシャンパーニュのマリアージュが湧き出すように。。
このイベントではフランスの「アトリエ フレッソン 」が1899年にアンリ・フレッションによって発明された炭紙に印刷する技術を使いハンドメイドでプリントした作品を展示いたします。

For this exhibition Jörgen Axelvall choose to combine photographs from two of his favored subject matters; portraits and flowers.
Each stand-alone photograph, of either a person or a flower, has its own aesthetic value and story to tell. When paired together a new subtle narrative comes to life.
The title, Parité: one plus one is more (than two), suggests this literally,
but can be viewed as a metaphor for every day life; whether referring to the magic of two people falling in love or an unexpected champagne pairing revealing a new sensation. A free-style poem by the artist reads as the titles of the artworks.
The prints are unique and hand-crafted by Atelier Fresson in France with a technique dating back to 1899.
