Our magazine constantly needs new stories and you are the ones to write them. You can run riot in all the different sections of our magazine if you stick to some general rules! Remember that you can now send us your stories in English, German and even Japanese.

Show us the lab techniques you have developed or how to modify old cameras so that they shoot the most beautiful and priceless pictures! Go to Tipster to share your tips, tricks and experiments.

Because we know that you love old analog cameras and crazy new cameras we have invented the camera review section. Just go to Cameras and tell us the special features of your treasured cameras. Don’t forget to upload some sample pictures as well.

There are so many different films out there! But with your help we will find and test all of them. Be it expired slide film or brand new colour film: write a Film Review and show us your results.

Lomographers are the perfect tour guides. Our LomoLocations are the best proof. Share your favourite places on earth with other Lomographers and have a look at this special section in our magazine when you plan your next trip to a foreign country. Maybe someone else has left an insider tip already. When writing your LomoLocation you should stick to the following Guidelines.

We promise you fame & fortune when your entries appear in our magazine. But we also feed your piggie bank with some Piggy Points!

For a LomoLocation you will get 5 Piggy Points.
A published Film Review is worth 5 Piggy Points. For a brand new film we give away 10 Piggies.
The same applies for Camera Reviews: 5 Piggy Points for every published review and 10 Piggies for a brand new camera.
When you love to experiemtn you will get 10 Piggies for each tipster report and another 10 when we present it in our newsletter.

A tipster doesn't normally give any piggies, only if it's chosen tipster of the week - did you change this? Or is the above an error?

Actually, I just looked at the link to the German piggy guide above and it says the same thing as the text above - whereas the English piggy guide says "The Tipster experiment of the week gets 10 Piggy Points. Also if your tip gets selected for our rotating newsletters you will receive 20 Piggies as praise for your stunning experiment." So it's confusion all around!!

so far i've translated three of my lomolocations into german, two of them appeared on the english site (below the english text) and one disappeared completely. what am i doing wrong?

- for de each tipster is like a tipster of the week as we don´t see them coming in in that big numbers. So for the start you can get yourself some piggies if you get a tipster published on de. As soon as we start with german tipsters of the week we will adjust the piggie rewards!

- spain and france are one of the next to come up

@scorpie - just send me the links to your blogs and I´ll fix it - I guess that´s rather an editors mistake than yours!

Yes, it could be nice to have one in spanish. Lomospain.com is good to share pictures but not to write stories like this.

@disdis - if you want to submit blogs in spanish you already can do so - just add ES in front of the title and submit from .com until we have the new spanish site online - your content will surely help to get it running :)

Ya podéis ir metiendo la nariz y husmear un poco en la nueva versión para España. Hemos salido al aire en "beta", lo que quiere decir es que todavía estamos en pruebas, con fallos, bugs, despistes y un poqui...to de miedo!!! Pero allá que vamos pa´lante!!!
