The Fuji Provia is one of my favourite slide films next to the Fuji Velvia. First of all: All Fuji slides are amazing! The colours are rich, saturated and simply brilliant! I always cross process my Fuji slides to give the pictures an extra kick of colour.

The Provia is excellent if you want to give your pics a slight touch of green, provided you cross process the film. Depending on the light situation the discolouring ranges from really green tones to only a slight touch of green. The more light the lesser the cross-feeling. Some pictures look as though the weather was really bad although the sun shone and others have an “under the sea” look.

I’ve tried all kinds of Provia. From films that have expired in 2002 to new ones. The older films give you the same discolouring like the newer ones but the colours are more intense. You see, the Provia is a very reliable film.
