Memphis, TN has three bridges across the Mississippi River in close proximity. Starting on the south, there is the Memphis & Arkansas Bridge for car and truck traffic. In the middle is the Frisco Bridge, now used by the BNSF Railroad. On the north side of the group of bridges is the Harahan Bridge, now used by the Union Pacific Railroad. At one time the Harahan Bridge had two roadways, one on either side, but these are no longer used (but there is talk as restoration of one for bicycle and pedestrian traffic). In this photo the highway bridge is on the left and the railroad bridges are on the right.
