   what happened to the camera? also, cool effect whatever it was.

   North Queensland, at a seaside village, the environment is harsh. High rel. humidity or condensation, salt air, water spray, they all take a toll. You should see the original shots - "oversaturated" beyond belief. I used that camera regularly,usually morning walks with the dog on the beach, in the scrub, sometimes even wading in the water - keeping a wary eye out for logs-with-eyes or triangular fins.
