Offerings (Indonesia #50)

I learned a lot about faith in general during my time in Bali. Particularly in the monkey forrest I admired the rangers, who made their rounds in the morning. The were giving offerings like little cakes, rice and flowers to holy shrines spread all over the premises. They were one eith themselves and with their prayers. Right after they put the offerings down the cheeky monkeys took it all away. But that doesn't matter for the faithful. It's all about the moment, when you cherish the gifts. How powerful.
