Kling Klang is the private music studio of the band KRAFTWERK. The old studio was originally located at Mintropstraße 16 in Düsseldorf, Germany. From 1970 to 2009, Kraftwerk produced most of their albums here, on equipment they invented—proto-synthesizers, oscillators, vocoders, and sequencers to name a few. And in the dream, try as you may, the doors do not open. The name is taken from the first song on the Kraftwerk 2 album. In mid-2009 the studio moved to Meerbusch-Osterath, west of Düsseldorf.

The track "Autobahn" was Kraftwerk's first success in the States. Wolfgang Flür explaind, that's because it sounded like a Beach Boys hit: "Fun Fun Fun auf der Autobahn"...
