   That must have been during the Kuwait crisis. I lived in Southern Africa during that time and remember that the shelves in the markets were empty (as people did panic buys).....similar to todays lock down crisis.......fortunately it is today just toilet paper....(-;

   @rolfmg Yes, I was activated from the Army Reserves and put on active duty. The experience turned my life upside down. I carried the Contessa with me everywhere and have about 400 images from that experience.
