Waal river Nijmegen

Riverstone used to be the place at Steenwaard (Rheden) for gravel extraction along the IJssel river, for concrete production at De Meteoor. In Nijmegen I pass a windmill and a factory for huge electronic transistors every day (by train). These are my first shots. And again shots from the cyclepath along the railroadbridge and from the la Place restaurant roof terrace in the centre of my birthplace. The watershed doors protecting the buildings at De Waal river from floodings are impressive.
