Have you ever wondered what happens when you expose color film -2 stops, process first with Rodinal 1:100 for 10 minutes then continue with c41 developer for usual time (without pushing), bypass bleaching and only fix as usual? Tell you what, this happens.
@heikoa Thanks! :) The idea behind using Rodinal as first developer (stand development for this part btw) is to "sensitize" the underexposed film so that it will react more readily with c41 developer. I had in mind to further intensify the effect with bypassing bleach. This was not the effect I was expecting though. I could of course bleach the negs afterwards and fix again after that to see what more (if anything) there is to those negs, but I count the results interesting enough as they are...
@troch Thanks! :) Had one close call of a blank roll recently with an attempt at b&w reversal process, but even then the positives were just and just scannable. And the 2nd try was somewhat more successful. Now shooting roll for a 3rd try, perhaps I'll produce this time something that might even be considered projectable... Well more of those later.
