   People make cairns like that on the Lake Superior shore as well, near Grand Marais. Fun to see who's lasts the longest.

   @honeygrahams224 I bet those on Lake Superior will last longer as this photo was taken in Stanley Park; these cairns were on the shoreline of the Salish Sea. There were 3 storms hitting Vancouver last week, these cairns were probably gone already

   Well, they are meant to be temporary and ephemeral I suppose. This is why I like photographs. The words can live inside the picture. ^__^

   In the last months i shot several times a 1960's Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f2.8 on a Contax RTS and the results were stunning, even at full aperture.

   @drummond yes, i love this lens so much
