SHONEN KNIFE LIVE IN BANGKOK . . . Japanese punk rock chicks, Shonen Knife aka The Osaka Ramones are coming to Bangkok. Since they burst onto music scene in the eighties they have gained so much international, mainstream popularity and are credited with making "the international pop underground more international”. Their career highlights include opening for Nirvana on their 'Nevermind' tour and they are highly respected by Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore and Steven McDonald of Redd Kross. Shonen Knife is playing live along with 2 rising Thai bands, Buddhist Holiday and Plot @ Sonic.
