    sorry my fool question, what is it on the line - shoes?! why? strange place... and very interesting photos!

    @gwenynbore: Thank you! Its a kind of street performance, i could say... The line is a electric cable and somebody just let the shoes there - scateboardes, street dancers, street artists and such kind of people likes the place around the monument...

    I've heard it originated a long time ago when soldiers were finishing their mandatory two years service they threw away their army shoes to celebrate the freedom. Love the pics by the way!

    @slanecek: Thanks for the info, i have never heard about it! And thank you for the likes of course :) Sometimes the municipality get off the shoes, yesterday i passed there again and there were only 2-3 pair of the shoes - lets start again :)
