i found this little thing at my grandma's. she moved to an elders residence recently and so we checked out the left behind stuff. this and a tourist guide berlin from the early seventies was the only stuff i packed up. besides that i got a box of family photographs from about fifty years back.
i took this camera for a testroll and was surprised how cool the roll came out.
once again, this cam was just an accompany for some weeks and the shots are so random that you wont find a pattern in it
Double exposure of dolphin and cosmos...
First went to the aquarium and shot dolphins only.
Then waited patiently for two or three weeks till cosmos grow...
Set the dolphin films again and shot flowers only at a cosmos garden.
Used a "half ND filter" or black cloth, to control the amount of exposure. (masking half of the lens with them)
I tried about 100 shots but most of them ended in failure...
I will try this kind of theme again...
As the weeks went by, my love for her became an obsession, as is the nature of unrequited love. I spent every penny I had on her, trying to delay the inevitable. I had always naively believed that money couldn’t buy love and it hurt me to admit that, had I been richer she would stay with me longer. But there would come a time when even money couldn’t buy her, like a flame that burned too bright she couldn’t last. So I became an amateur meteorologist, studying the horizon like an anxious parent watching their child take their first, faltering steps, looking for cloud formations and changes in the wind, trying desperately to make the most of our time together. But the happiness I felt in her presence was now tinged with sadness as I could feel her slipping away.
Nice to have lights back on and internet back up...various shots with the Canon and Lensbaby. I used a variety of Lensbaby accessories on these such as the 4x closeup lens, fisheye optic and super wide lens.
I shot this sensia on a one of those early sunny days this spring... somehow the roll just didn't seem to end, I got suspicious and rewinded but it only took like 2 sec so I feared the film wasn't running thru the camera at all and opened in complete sunlight - but the film was disrupted so I had it processed anyway. I'm so happy the lab did that!! :)
