Pollution: plastic on the beach

This series of photographs shows some of the plastic trash I encountered on the beach of my city during a walk. Other trash, like glass, paper and metal was present. Usually, they get removed for the beach before the summer... but they remain in sea water and in the fishes we eat. It is a very serious situation common to many other places around the world. The Adriatic Sea (Mediterranean) is also an enclosed marine area, making things even worse. [The photos are originals, but I coloured the plastic to make it more visible!]
