First time I tried Adox Color Implosion with my Minolta Dynax! All shots taken at Pilio, Greece. Like the grainy look, though I can't explain why they seem underexposed...the sun was shining, the ISO was set at 400 and Minolta has manual settings so I was completely in control of the light metering. Kodak Tmax taken in and around Chicago. Met up with my friend D. for a walk around Oakbrook Terrace mall (very fancy) and say my brother E. for lunch downtown.
I am always on the lookout for trying something new and interesting. This is a result of using colored filters on color film (they are typically used for black and white photography) and then double-exposing. I started with the colored backgrounds and shot over them - the color mostly shows up in the darkest areas of the second image. I used a green filter on the creeping Charlie, a blue filter on the sun and clouds, and a red filter for the portait.
Brunch at the Bryant Lake Bowl with C., A., Ralph und Florian. I went for brunch with C. and A., and enjoyed coffee, mimosas, and bloody marys (as is customary). Ralph un Florian hopped along too, and had their pictures taken at the table. They do demand a lot of attention.
This was the innagural run of the "Pika-cam," a toy Pikachu camera that actually works! I love pokemon, and I love photography, so why not combine the two? The camera has a lot of lens distortion and is really best suited for snapshots and selfies. I took a lot of photos after dark at Pier 57, so I ordered the film to be push processed by two stops. The push processing resulted in the enhanced film grain you see here.
More pictures of my friend S. The film turned out better than I thought - it was expired "Homelife 200" from Kmart, which I theorize is actually Konica 200. Photos taken in Capitol Hill, Seattle.
This is a roll of double exposed Agfa Precisa that I have been working on for a couple months. I was disappointed with how it turned out, and all of these photos are tinted due to the fact that the exposure was *really* off with this film. I guess it was more expired than I thought, because only the areas that got triple exposed really turned out. The skies have been cloudy all winter, so not much chance for any sun to help along development.
