In front of the Seoul City Hall which is under construction is a huge plaza that on winter is converted into an ice skating rink. When fangcarpenter and I visited the area we saw a huge number of people - young and old - lining up to get to the rink when it opened. We immediately brought our cameras out of bags. When the signal was given to open the rink for skaters, excitement was around as skaters conquered the huge white space of ice. It was such a visual delight seeing so many happy people around.
