@superlighter: They are community street actors performing the Passion of Christ. You can say that Romans indirectly arrived in the Philippines via Christianity brought by the Spaniards who ruled for over 300 years. That explains why majority of the Filipinos are Roman Catholics. At present, the Filipinos' growing love for pasta, pizza and gelato may well account for Italian influence in our local culture. :D
