I love Rosie the Riveter - the iconic image of an empowered woman that has been associated with feminism and women's economic power. The original image represented women's dramatic shift from the confines of domestic bliss into the workforce as induced by the war (as most male laborers were drafted into the battle field and had to be replaced by women) and the rapid industrialization. Doubled my shots with pedestrian scenes while I was walking the metal footbridge.
