Nighttime in Kyoto is not just black and white. It's also full of colors and incredibly welcoming people. We found this yakitori restaurant, Tsumugi, in a small street north of Gion, and it became our favourite spot ! A warm welcome as if we were expected, a relaxed atmosphere with lively chat and laughter (even without speaking the same language!), and tasty yakitori. Not to mention highballs and sake, um, full-bodied!
