The best way to enjoy St. Patrick's Day festivities this year was to shoot with Purple Lomochrome film!!! Highlights included the Chicago River in purple (after the city dyed it green), the street musicians and walking (in the cold) for over 3 hours with my buddy Lindsey!!! Awesome day!!! Enjoy! =-)
Very cool album!! And Merry belated Vernal Equinox, too!! Back in the 60's, the Wiccans in LA would try to dance "sky clad" in Fern Dell Park in Hollyweird on 3/20. They claimed the artesian spring there was mystical. There were photos in the LA Free Press. The gravity of this was heinous. There is a reason for foundation garments... And the cops would chase them off.
@herbert-4 I can only imagine there were quite the sites to see then!!! I miss California terribly, especially all of the colorful people, personalities and "holidays." Luckily I'll be heading home for a short trip in couple of weeks, cameras and lots of film in hand!!!!Thank you so much for checking out my new album, for the likes and cool comments!!!! =-)
Thank you so much @kibs!!! Seriously, it was super overwhelming. But, I walked alone for awhile and then Lindsey and I met up and headed to parts of the city I'd never been in & where people were a little more chill. This guy plays like every weekend; PLEASE check him out (the drummer) b/c he is AMAZING!!!!!! The corner of State and Washington!! Seriously, people stop dead in their tracks even when it's freezing to hear him. Pure gift he has!!!!
