Snapshots of a Happy Childhood: Launch Recap

Lomography history was made in the Philippines when the Snapshots of a Happy Childhood Exhibition was launched at The Podium on 5 September.

The launch started off with a short speech from the Austrian Ambassador to the Philippines, followed by the awarding of the winners of our Happy Childhood Memories Competition. After is the official ribbon cutting ceremony, symbolizing that the exhibition is open for all to see, which is then followed by the launch reception with snacks and drinks.

The winners of the Happy Childhood Memories Competition also got their prices presented by the Austrian Ambassador to the Philippines Bita Rasoulian which totals to EUR 175 from the Lomography online shop, as well as a combined total of PHP 30,000 of SM Gift Certificates.

In further detail, the exhibition features three displays. First is the Snapshots of a Happy Childhood LomoWall Exhibition which is a 6ft high and 14ft wide Lomowall.

The second part of the exhibition is the Captured Moments in a Loving Home Exhibition which is a separate wall showing photos taken by the kids of SOS Children’s Village in manila with the Simple Use Film Cameras:

Lastly, the third part is the Lomography Classics Exhibition which features an exciting array of Lomography products:

The Snapshots of a Happy Childhood Exhibition was launched on September 5 at The Podium with headline guests Bita Rasoulian, Ambassador of Austria to the Republic of the Philippines, Edwin Chou, Wholesales Manager for Asia, Lomography, and key officers from SM Supermalls.
