This is a pond that I pass by some days on my way to the machine shop. Lately it's been freakishly warm so there has been a lot of fog and mist in the mornings. Anyway, the pond is located across the road from where the old junkman used to live. He passed away a few years back and they tore down his self built house. It was a true hippie house and was unbelievable inside, must have violated at least 100 building codes. It was nuts. Plus he had a collection of broken doors and windows on his property that he had collected from everywhere that was truly amazing. It's all gone now and there's just a field where all that junk once resided. It was an eyesore back in the day but now I kind of miss him.

Amazing photos. Thanks for the story as well. It makes me sad that the hippie house got torn down and that the collection of doors and windows is gone. I bet they would have made for some good photographic material.
