scanner trouble

i was really happy with the way the prints came out when i was in the darkroom, but when i scanned them there is a whole load of marks on them, annoying, but hey I can't be fucked to do it again. I might redo them another time. but does anyone have a reason for these flaws regarding scanning other than I had a bad scanner?
