With his distinctive ululating yell, Tarzan was really the lord of the jungle - well, at least on TV in my childhood years. Grew up watching the series of his adventures and misadventures in the jungle with Cheetah, wife Jane and their son. Of all the many actors that portrayed this role, it was Johnny Weissmuller, former swimming Olympian, who was my family's favorite. He just had the IT quality to be Tarzan. This set is honoring that fond memory of looking forward every 6 o'clock in the evening before the prime time news to watch this character swing from tree to tree through the vines.
