I was involved recently as both writer and director of three consecutive nights of musical concerts dubbed Ugnayan featuring Filipino musicians of the traditional lutes and zithers held in Centro Escolar University. The cultural project involved masters of the instruments coming from various indigenous communities such as Maguindanaon, T'boli, Panay Bukidnon, Cordillera and Matigsalog as well as contemporary musicians like Popong Landero and Diwa de Leon who popularize the instruments through fusion of the traditional music with the modern and electronic. Took a few group shots during a quick photo-op minutes before the open house for the first concert. Textured my shots with night lights.
