   A pinhole is no substitute for an ordinary camera. The power of the pinhole is in the insane Depth Of Field - it allows you to have the same crappy sharpness for objects that are for example at 10cm from the hole to infinity. You need to compose your pinhole photos in a manner that will create the most unusual result, one that can not be achieved with an ordinary camera:

   Furthermore, it needs a tripod or a solid surface to sit on.

   @raylemon Yeah, thanks for liking my pinhole photos as well. The flat film inside a film camera is a limiting factor, but I believe you can still make great photos by exploiting the pinhole's unusual features. And by using a tripod, of course.

   yup. some of the clear shots were shot using a gorillapod. agree with you. this is sort of my test roll. Will try again! thanks for the tips!

   Another tip: Use @adash to attract my attention to your response in the comments section.
   That's what I did with a pinhole body cap and a digital camera:

   e-p1.net/media/?sa=item;in=6103
   e-p1.net/media/?sa=item;in=6104
   The sensor in this digital camera is small, and the image is very soft, but if that was a 35mm film camera, it would become much better, because of the larger area.
   The camera did not have a tripod in these, but was hard-pushed against the ground and that stabilized it.
