I was having some major issues with my development and results recently. So I decided to do some troubleshooting to find the problem. I shot a roll of flashed 100 ISO BW (for contrast, not composition) and chopped it into short bits to do tests.

I suspected my developer (Diafine) had gone bad or gotten contaminated, so I took steps to figure out the problem.

First step was a run through my normal process. Then a run through some D-76 and normal fixer. Once I saw the results and knew it was the Diafine, I replaced it (and the fixer to be safe) and did another round. Problem solved.

These shots represent a handful of the many from the 5 total strips I developed. Nothing special, meant purely for testing purposes.
