Better effort from Kodak 500T.. cough cough CineStill 800T
So this roll was an overall better experience and outcome than my previous roll however I still only got around 20% usable images which still have far too much grain for my tastes.
@iamtheju I would yes, I believe the newer production stock of this film has a much better quality control so you get more bang for your buck. It would be fine with a Pentax ME providing you got some fast glass like a 50mm 1.4. Otherwise you're better off with a rangefinder as with a slow lens you'll need a subtle shutter cause this film munches light, slightest movement will kill your shot. And it doesn't particularly render a very flattering image in daylight skin tones are cold and washed out. The film shines at night, next time I use it I'm going to rate it at 500ASA as it actually just Kodak Vision3 (500T) re spooled with the rem jet gel backing removed :)
