The Selfie Project

Does it seem like everyone these days are taking selfies? What I wonder is, being so focused on taking that amazing shot of ourselves, how much are we really paying attention to the surroundings around us? Are we being more consumed by what we see of ourselves, rather than taking the time to appreciate the world around us? And if that is true, how does that change the kind of images that we take? So I set out with an LCA and a Konstructor and I took the shots with my iPhone and a selfie stick. The selfie stick makes the iPhone show as an obstruction in the photo, and with this I want to make a reminder that sometimes, we should take the focus away from our selfies, even away from the camera sometimes, and really live in and appreciate the world around us with the best 2 lenses we have in our own eyes.
