The Schinkel is a former living area for the workers of the Klöckner steel plant which was located near by the location these images were taken. The plant was closes in 1989 and was later demolished. The quarter was never the best one to live here but it is constantly changing with modern smaller houses more famelies and students living there. This images show the neighborhood were I lived a while ago which has not seen that much changes over the last 25 years. This little walk was a bit of a film test as well - I used the AgfaPhoto APX 400 New film pushed to ISO 1600 (developed in Kodak T-Max Developer). Not the best way to shoot this film as far as I am concerned.
