Lower Antelope Canyon

After visiting a couple of National Parks and beeing more than impressed we found ourselves in Lower Antelope Canyon. Neither words nor photos can describe this overwhelming beauty Mother Nature has created here. Still I shot a couple of films down here and am pleased at least with this roll. If you are ever nearby Page, AZ I strongly recommend to visit (Lower) Antelope Canyon. Don´t be shocked by the mass of tourists, it´s worth visiting anyway. It´s the most fantastic place I´ve seen so far! All shots taken without a tripod and all of them I needed to slightly adjust the light and contrast on my PC...sorry for that...

No need to apologise! In the old days a photo was not finished until it came out of the darkroom as a print. During printing lots of adjustments were made. There seems to be a school of thought in Neo-Analogue Photography that only the pure photo from the negative is a "real" analogue photo. If that was true, then Ansel Adams would not have been a "real" photographer.
I think that as long as adjustments are kept to things like adjusting contrast etc there is nothing wrong with it. Just my two cents...

@carsten-schmitt Thanks for your comment! In fact I normally avoid any kind of changes during scanning. That´s why I wanted to give the hint to everybody interested that I had to adjust the exposure/ contrast to make more content visible in this case. But probably you´re right, this mindset of the "pure" photo may have infected me as well a bit too much. It´s unrealistic anyway because my Scanner does not scan "pure" - even if switching off all automatic adjustments, photos from my Scanner look different like from other Scanners...
