   Love this kind of shoot. Remember to remove the batteries from the camera if it is going to be unused for a long period of time.

   Yea, batteries that leak and dry out into a crusty-corrosion will have to be extracted like a dead tooth. The wall of the battery compartment that faces inward is thin and prone to breaking. The wall has the battery contacts on the inside, so these need to be cared for by keeping clean and not stressing the integrity of the compartment wall. Similarly, the battery clip will be likely damaged if the batteries leak in the compartment, but you dont have to worry so much about the clip if you remove it with the batteries and store it off to the side with the batteries in it.
