Milford Sound. 2001

Rainfall 200 inches/year. Fiordland National Park was carved out in the Ice Age leaving hanging valleys. @fragakis_p commented: "heaven on earth." Sea water has a surface layer of freshwater in the Sounds. I am in love with southern light.

    New Zealand but could easily have been for instance the Sognefjord or Lysefjord in Norway.
