stroll around at the "brennender Berg". A open cast coal mine that started burning over 300 years ago and is still burning in the underground. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe visited this place in the 1770´s and referred to it in his written memories. In cold weather there is still visible smoke coming out. Unfortunately this winter has been freaking warm until now. I need to return when temperatures drop under 0°C.
