HESL retreat

My counselor recommended me to this "Eight Stages of Healing" retreat. It was a 2-day bunker event. Activities were done according to the 8 stages that progressed with age. They unearth childhood scars and healing them as you progress to adulthood. It was a mix of happy thoughts, regrets, tears, traumas but mostly forgiveness and acceptance. Though i wouldn't say it was an eye-opener, it help me in someway to enjoy what I have and to move on from my past hurts.
