Ogden, Skyline #Vanishing Point

Eastman Kodak EXR 5245 #50D well expired. #Nikon F4 with #Nikkor 43-86mm non- AI lens (Ken Rockwell WORST lens Nikon ever made, ghosts everywhere - You bet Ken!) Developed in simple ECN-2 with #Copper #Sulfate bleach as published by Patrick Dignan based on #Ackley ... Age one hour, but do not use after 12 hours. Loses activity after that time. For one roll, use a double 35mm tank, with a dummy reel on top. Use only 250 ml developer. Agitation: Vigorous agitation must be avoided or overall density and contrast will increase to an unwanted level. Best method, seems to be to lift the tank from the water bath, invert and continue through 360 degrees, then set tank back in water bath. Do this once each 30 seconds. This will assure each point of the negative getting different developer and will prevent hot spots and streaks. @neufotomacher Thanks, I only recently started thinking about vanishing points, it is interesting how often they are just there and part of the composition, only now I'm thinking about it. Probably won't make things any better LOL. But this definitely works, I think.

@neufotomacher I shot this cool old sign in Oceanside a few months ago. It was one of those, "hey as long as THIS shot works ,,," sorta thing. I haven't developed all the film, but I shot a roll the other day and realized I double exposed it. And there was the sign, pretty much trashed in a double exposure and too much light. I bet the sign's gone. I think it was a bowling alley or something on the road to Carlsbad. Maybe if it survives till May I will capture it again... Be safe!

Can't wait to see it, even if over exposed with another image.

@neufotomacher I looked it over again this morning and worked on it. I'll throw it up tomorrow. I don't mind it as much as I did. Hopefully it will survive one more winter. Hell, the roadway inn on the North Coast Highway is still there from the 1980s.... I wish I could remember that night... lol
