The North Leverett Sawmill is a very picturesque spot. Recently restored and rebuilt, it is a historic landmark and I believe it's been there since the 1700's. When people around the world think of New England and especially Vermont, I think this is what they imagine. In truth though, these types of places are not so common and I'm lucky to have this one fairly close to where I live. And by the way, western Massachusetts looks more like "Vermont" than Vermont does these days. :D
