I love Velvia 50 but this one came out with a strong leak on the bottom part, i could find out when that could have happened. It is a disappointment but portraits and landscape are moody. If you want to help let me know Which one you like and why?
The light must be leaking from the top of the camera. Have a look at the negs, if the leak extends to the sprocket holes it's from the backside, if the sprocket holes are not affected it's from the front side. I suspect the viewfinder.
@MSIEGEL thanks for the message, it looks like the sprockets are dark too...Even from the back side, i can't explain why all the photos from 1 to 36 are leaked the same way. it means it didn't happen with an accidental back opened during the shooting of the roll , i wonder if it is not at the lab. but they told me it is not possible... it looks like the case is not completely solved 😅
Hi @dudizm, I think it can come from the viewfinder. That happens sometimes. Light gets reflected down between the camera back and the film. The F2 has an user exchangeable viewfinder and there might be a problem with the seals or it got loose by mistake. Or it's the upper light seal in the backdoor rail. It's an old camera and seals deteriorate.
@MSIEGEL it sounds very funny because it is the only film with this problem and i shoot a lot of them ! It is a mystery as the camera is in perfect condition... anyway, thanks a lot for your insight and help!🙏
