Beautiful Fukushima

福島県会津若松市の石部桜です。
会津五桜の第一にあげられる桜の銘木で、樹齢約600年といわれています。見渡す限りの田園の中にぽつりと立っているためひときわその威容が目立っていました。

This big tree is estimated to be 600 years old.
There are many beautiful and famous cherry trees in Fukushima area. This is one of them :) Looks bigger than real because of winding-up trouble with my LC-A+.
You might know Fukushima as the town of nuclear power plant accident.
Yes it's true, but it's also true that Fukushima is one of the most beautiful area where we can meet great nature through the four seasons.
