From ”filmsoup-swap” project with my favorite photographer fotobes. He shot first in UK, and then I shot in Japan (at Kakuouzan Temple, Nagoya). After finishing the roll I ”cooked” the film. I put the dissolved neutral detergent onto all around the film in a darkroom. Then rewind the film and heated the canister in boiled water for 5 minutes. After I dried the film I got it developed. Came out psychedelic image. We don’t discuss what we have each taken photographs of, so the results are always a surprise. I was lucky enough to join Vicuna, his brother Gérard and a bunch of wonderful people on a recent trip to Burkina Faso. This is the first album and an encounter of the Northern town of Nouna. Here, Gérard and his Partners, from the French city of Saint Priest and Germanys Mühlheim, are active in developing aid for more then ten years. One of the prime examples are these fountains, that can be easily used by spinning the wheel and which operate through a closed pipe-system, so the water can not be spoiled or infected through an open part. There is also a clever maintenance system. Villagers pay a small fee for using the fountains, like a flatrate pass. This money goes to technicians, who come from the village and who were educated to repair the fountains. Once a device breaks down, they are able to buy the needed parts and fix it...
Had the pleasure to spend some time with and photograph Madrid-based photographer and street artist Rolling Habits for Whattaroll at the end of his 48-day journey by bicycle from New York to Los Angeles.

Finally I have this great camera :) This is my very first film I've exposed with it. I played a little bit with the ISO-settings to get a feeling for the exposure and for the well-known over-exposure, which is typical for this camera.
I love this camera!
One of my wishes for Xmas is the instant back and a lot of Fuji Instax Mini films ;-)
the roll i bought was obviously bad stored. pretty grainy and strange colourshifts. just like my 135mm rsx200 and sensia 100 not really what would have expected. it´s pretty annoying to get such results. but i have to admit that some shots do look pretty good anyway.
i am a little bit disappointed with my lc-a, because my layer is almost invisible.

Liebe Leute, bald gehen meine Artikel über meine Woche in Südtirol online! Anfang des Jahres wurde mein Blog für den Süditrol Medien Preis 2013 nominiert (yay:). Ich durfte 1 Woche lang in dieser schönen Gegend in Norditalien herumreisen, mir so viel wie nur irgend möglich anschauen, hunderte von Lomos schießen und, ach ja, mein Projekt starten ;) Die Artikel gehen im Januar online und eine Jury wird zum Frühling hin entscheiden, welcher der 3 Blogs den Preis gewinnen wird. Dear Lomo-Friends,
earlier this year, my blog Lomoherz got nominated for the South Tyrol Media Award 2013 (yay:). They invited me to their lovely place in Northern Italy and I had a week';s time to roam around and realize my project in order to (perhaps) win this Media Award. The result (i.e. the articles) will be online at the beginning of January with possibly hundreds of lomographs. Then, some time in spring, a jury will decide which one of the 3 remaining blogs will win this glorious "thang" ;)!
