Monument E.F. Gnessina

The monument is established September 22, 2004 in front of the Concert Hall of the Russian Academy of Music Gnesin.

Opening of the monument to Helen Fabianovny Gnessina was timed to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian enlightener and pianist, as well as the 60th anniversary founded with her sisters music school.

The monument was created by sculptor, People's Artist of Russia, AN Burganov. According to the author, a famous pianist in the image of "young lady" sitting at the piano, the lid of which turns into a bird's wings.
