Some photos i took at about age 8. Taken with an old Hanimex Instamatic mum gave me. I guess my life was horses, cats and a dog. Mum and Dad are in there a bit too.
These are wonderful!! Also about Hanimex, sometime in the late 1960's they made, probably in Mexico, a little special camera for "La Dia de los Muertes" that used 126 Instamatic films and looked like a skull in various colours. It had a string to hang about your neck, advanced the film by cranking the jaw, the lens was at the nose hole, the viewfinder was out the left eye, and a tiny flash that strobed out of the right eye. I kind of remember them about Halloween 1967, didn't have any money to get one, then never saw them again. It was made of rather thick plastic. I had a fat girlfriend, Rose, at the time, and she had a pink one. It took good pictures, but got quickly stolen from her purse (no money). This might be something to find, but I never saw one again. The item seems to have been around LA one year, then disappeared.
