After a week of intense windsurfing training, we decided to take a day off and explore the local area. The locals told us about this "Bubble Beach" nearby, so we got on our bikes and peddled over the hill...
@bloomchen It's a small beach on the South West side of the Greek Island of KOS. It's a very nice bike ride from the popular Kefalos Bay. We went there off season and had the whole place all to ourselves. Because of the volcanic formation of that area, there's continuous streams of geothermal gas coming out of the ground. On a sunny calm day when the waves are not choppy, you can see millions of bubbles underwater, it's like swimming in a gigantic glass of champagne :) If you want to confirm the volcanic origin of those gas, just trap some bubbles under a wet shirt and smell them!!
