The extreme heat that day did not stop the revelry for the year's bountiful harvest. The ritual parade honoring the patron saint, San Isidro Labdrador, went with its usual excitement, colors, textures and sounds. Locals and tourists were all in festive mood. Photographers, mostly digital, roamed around the streets of Lucban, trying to capture the charms of all the decors made of fresh produce and the kiping (brightly colored leaf-shaped wafer made of rice paste popular in Quezon province used as decor).
