Voici la première série de mon projet de scan de photos anciennes. Il s'agit de diapositives prises par mon père, qui à 21 ans participa à un voyage organisé de découverte des Etats-Unis pour les jeunes en 1963. Le voyage se fit en 2 étapes : Pittsburgh et Washington. Armé d'un Kodak Retinette, et d'une pellicule Kodachrome, il prit des photos de bonne qualité générale, dont certaines sont de la plus pure street photography, avec ce look vintage en plus ! 🤠📷
Here is the first set of my photo scanning project. These are slides taken by my father, who at the age of 21 took part in an organized trip for young people to discover the United States in 1963. The trip took took them in two cities : Pittsburgh and Washington. Equipped with a Kodak Retinette, and Kodachrome film, my father took photos of quite good quality, some of which are real street photography, with that vintage look as a bonus ! 🤠📷

@cjf thanks ! I like these slides not only for personal reasons, but also because they have that retro look. they were shot 60 years ago ! and this one in particular, sets an out-of-time atmosphere, I cannot really decide if it is real or artificial, relaxed or sophisticated... These are supposed to be young people, some of them teenagers, but hey, how are they dressed... suits and ties... the guy on the left, is he a golfer? Even look at the guy at the far right, who is he? with the cap, is he a cop, or a bus driver? does he belong to the group?
