While waiting to get on the ferry back to the mainland from Martha's Vinyard I decided to finish a roll of expired Kodak Gold 200 I had loaded into a "simple use" Ilford Sprite 35mm to capture some early morning light. The light was too low for ISO200 and the shutter was probably fixed at about 1/90 so I got some pretty thin negatives. However, I think I captured the emotion of an early morning at a sea port, a feeling that disappears as soon as the sun is up. The photos have a dream like fogginess to them and are somewhat reminiscent of a Pointillist or Divisionist painting style. Home Process in Cinestill C41.
