It rained the night before our scheduled visit to the world-famed Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) which prompted our guides to suggest instead a visit to the old state capital Niteroi. After crossing the bridge that connects Rio and Niteroi (said to be the longest in Brazil and South America), we went to see the Museum of Contemporary Art. Then on our way to a Brazilian restaurant for lunch, we stopped by briefly in a fishing village. Took a quick walk on the wet sandy beach that is a citadel to many boats - some of which have been battered by the storm, strong waves or perhaps years of usage. Some fisherfolks we saw were busy repairing their nets at a small plaza near the road.
Really nice album! Of boats and fisherfolks--it just can't get better than that anywhere in the world! It's elemental, and the same all over the world. I look forward to your next album. Lomolove, Ken.
Thanks my lomofriends for the likes and sweet comments. @Superlighter, SFL is the repackaged Vivitar Ultra-Wde and Slim but now comes under the brand Superheadz. It comes in different colors as opposed to the old silver VivUWS. I'd say it's a poor man's LC-W.
