For these, I picked assorted color stobe modes, rainbow mode etc and let the light run all magic mushroom style while I shot each shot. Since it was dark and I was using the slowest camera speed, I just aimed the Kick light and followed the approx location of the lens opening in each shot to get that wierd trippy banding and coloring in each shot.
Indeed. The wall to the right is deep red/burgundy anyway but the Kick did most of the work. It almost looksl ike these where badly expired and poorly processed shots and not that I had added crazy light :D
